Thomas’s paternal grandmother was Lelia Marie Kilroy (the daughter of Thomas Francis Kilroy and Mary Ellen Tighe). Thomas’s great-grandfather Thomas Kilroy was Irish. Thomas’s great-grandmother Mary Ellen was the daughter of Anna Nora Geraghty, who was Irish.
