Thomas Jane is an American actor. His roles include the films Boogie Nights , Deep Blue Sea , Under Suspicion , 61* , The Punisher (2004), Stephen King’s The Mist , Mutant Chronicles , 1922 , and The Predator , and the series Hung and The Expanse . He has also been credited as Tom Janes. He founded RAW Studios, a comic book publisher.
Thomas is the son of Cynthia, an antiques dealer, and Michael Elliott, a genetic engineer. He has a daughter with his former wife, actress Patricia Arquette .

Thomas’ paternal grandfather was Thomas Wright Bendix Elliott (the son of William Johnston Elliott and Edith McElroy). Thomas’ grandfather Thomas was born in Ho-Ho-Kus, New Jersey. William was the son of George Washington Elliott and Mary Wilson, whose parents were English. Edith was the daughter of Robert Greenwood McElroy, who was Irish; and of Margaret Everett.
Thomas’ paternal grandmother was Margaret J. Lynch (the daughter of Edward Vincent Lynch and Henrietta Maria Acker). Margaret was born in Boston, Massachusetts. Edward was the son of Irish parents, James Lynch, from County Roscommon, and Catherine J. Horan. Henrietta was the daughter of Henry G. Acker and Emma, who was an English immigrant.
Thomas’ maternal grandfather was Ezra Leon Shiver (the son of William Lafayette Shiver and Lula Mae Johnston). Ezra was born in Alabama, and had deep roots in the U.S. William was the son of Abijah Shiver and Georgia Ann Senn. Lula was the daughter of Thomas Ezra Johnston and Mary Jane Lee.
Thomas’ maternal grandmother was Annie Lee Faulk (the daughter of William Hiram Faulk and Arrie Lee Shiver). Annie was born in Alabama, and had deep lines in the U.S. William was the son of Oscar Lee Faulk and Nancy Jane Roberson. Arrie was the daughter of Joel Jackson Shiver and Shady Senn.
