Timana Tahu is an Australian rugby leage and union footballer. A wing, centre, and second-row in rugby league, he played for Newcastle Knights, Parramatta Eels, Penrith Panthers, and Newcastle Knights, and for NSW Country, New South Wales, the Australia national team, New Zealand Māori, and Indigenous All Stars. A centre in rugby union, he played for NSW Waratahs and Denver Stampede, and the Australia national team and Australia A.
His father is a Ngapui Māori from New Zealand. The Ngapui people are from the Matamata region of New Zealand. His mother is Aboriginal. As a child growing up in Australia, he learned about Māori culture from his father and Aboriginal culture from his mother.
Timana has three children with his partner Kasey.
