Tite is a Brazilian professional footballer and manager. A midfielder, he played for Caxias, Esportivo, Portuguesa, Guarani, and Guarany de Garibaldi. He manages Cruzeiro. He previously managed Guarany de Garibaldi, Caxias, Veranópolis, Ypiranga-RS, Juventude, Grêmio, São Caetano, Corinthians, Atlético Mineiro, Palmeiras, Al Ain, Internacional, Al Wahda, the Brazil national team, and Flamengo.
Tite is the son of Ivone Tereza/Thereza Mazzochi and Genor Bachi. His parents have Italian ancestry. Their surnames were originally spelt Mazzocchi and Bacchi. Tite is married to Rosmari Rizzi, with whom he has two children. He speaks some Italian and some family members are also fluent in the Talian dialect.
Two of Tite’s paternal great-grandparents were Andrea Bacchi and Maria Domenica Mazzocchi. Andrea and Maria were born in Viadana, province of Mantua, Lombardia region, Italy, and moved to Brazil in 1883.
