T. J. Oshie is an American professional ice hockey player. A right wing, he played for the St. Louis Blues and the Washington Capitals of the National Hockey League (NHL), and with the U.S. national team.

T. J. is from the Anishinaabe or Ojibwe Nation through his father, Tim. His name in Ojibwe or Anishnaabemowin, “Keeway Gaaboo,” roughly means “coming home,” with “-aaboo” possibly referring to water, thereby coming downhill to water. T. He is married to Lauren Cosgrove, with whom he has four children.

He is nicknamed T. J. after the character T. J. Flynn in the film The Champ (1979).
