Toby’s paternal grandfather was Ian Alexander Wallace (the son of Alexander Ross Wallace and Winifred Anna Sturges). Ian was born in India. Alexander was the son of Alexander Wallace and Ethel Campbell Ross. Winifred was the daughter of Herbert Court Sturges and Annabella Mary Mansfield.
Toby’s paternal grandmother was Janet Elizabeth Glossop (the daughter of The Rev. Gilderoy Cave Glossop and Thelma Selina Byam Hony). Janet was born in Ranchi, India. Gilderoy was the son of John Francis Gilderoy Glossop and Marian Cave. Thelma was the daughter of Charles William Hony and Annie Elizabeth Lewin.
