Tommy Dorfman is an American actress. She is known for her roles on the series 13 Reasons Why , Jane the Virgin , American Princess , Insatiable , Love, Victor ; and Love in the Time of Corona ; and in the films The Shuroo Process and Sharp Stick . She directed and wrote the film I Wish You All the Best . She is a transgender woman.

Her cousin is television personality and author Andi Dorfman, of The Bachelorette . Tommy is married to Elise Williams.

Tommy’s maternal grandfather was Arthur Ranger Curran (the son of Arthur Manning Curran and Helen M. Ranger). Tommy’s grandfather Arthur was born in Massachusetts. Tommy’s great-grandfather Arthur was born in Massachusetts, the son of Charles J. Curran, whose parents were Irish, and of Catherine Agnes “Kate” Lally, whose parents were also Irish. Helen was born in Massachusetts, the daughter of Casper Ranger, who was born in Alsace-Lorraine, France, and was of German and some Swiss-German descent; and of Ellen E. McDonald/McDonnell, whose parents were Irish.

Tommy’s maternal grandmother was Celia Mae Galbreath (the daughter of Thomas Gussie Galbreath and Ada Mae Simmons). Celia was born in Texas. Thomas was born in Texas, the son of Asa Hoxie Perry Galbreath and Sarah Belle Moody. Ada was born in Texas, the daughter of James Walter Simmons and Celia Annie Evans.
