Tracy Pollan is an American actress. Her roles include the films Baby It’s You , Promised Land (1987), Bright Lights, Big City ; and A Stranger Among Us ; the shows Family Ties , Spin City , and Law & Order: Special Victims Unit ; the made-for-tv movies Trackdown: Finding the Goodbar Killer , The Baron and the Kid , Fine Things , Hench at Home , First to Die , Natalee Holloway (2009), and Justice for Natalee Holloway ; and the mini-series The Kennedys of Massachusetts ; as well as works on stage.
She is the daughter of Corky Pollan, a magazine editor, and Stephen Pollan, a financial consultant and writer. She was raised in Woodbury, New York. Her brother is author, journalist, and activist Michael Pollan.
Tracy is married to Canadian-born actor Michael J. Fox , with whom she has four children.
Her family is Jewish, and her children were raised in the faith.
Tracy’s paternal grandfather was Robert David Pollan/Polansky (the son of Samuel/Tom Pollan/Polansky and Sophie S. Greenberg). Robert was born in New York.
