Trevante Rhodes is an American actor and track and field sprinter. He is known for his roles in the films Open Windows , Moonlight (2016), Burning Sands , 12 Strong , The Predator (2018), Bird Box , The United States vs. Billie Holiday , Bruiser (2022), Candy Cane Lane , and Mea Culpa (2024); and on the shows If Loving You Is Wrong and Mike (2022). He was a runner for the Texas Longhorns. Having competed in the 100 metres and 200 metres, he won a gold metal at the Pan American Junior Athletics Championships in 2009.
He was raised in Little Elm, Texas during his teen years.
