Tris Speaker was an American professional baseball player, and manager. A center fielder, he played for the Boston Americans/Red Sox, the Cleveland Indians, the Washington Senators, and the Philadelphia Athletics of Major League Baseball (MLB). He also managed the Cleveland Indians. He is in the Baseball Hall of Fame.
Tris was the son of Mary Jane and Archibald Speaker.
