Tyler, the Creator, is an American rapper, musician, singer, songwriter, record producer, actor, visual artist, fashion designer, director, and comedian. He was a co-founder, and leader, of alternative hip-hop music collective Odd Future. Lionel Boyce , Frank Ocean , and Earl Sweatshirt were also members of Odd Future. He was also part of comedy hip hop duo I Smell Panties, with Jasper Dolphin. He co-starred in the film Marty Supreme , co-starred on the show Loiter Squad , and co-created the show The Jellies! , which he also wrote for and starred on. He is also known as Tyler Okonma, Tyler Haley, Wolf Haley, Bunnyhop, Poly/Mono, Ace, the Creator; ThrashPolo, Young N—a, DJ Stank Daddy, and Tyler Mr. Hot Sauce Haley Wolf 2010.
Tyler’s father is Nigerian, of Igbo descent. His mother, Bonita (Smith), is of European Canadian, from her own father, and African-American, from her own mother, descent. He was raised in Hawthorne and Ladera Heights in Los Angeles.
