Tyson Beckford is an American supermodel and actor. He is a Ralph Lauren Polo model. He has hosted the program Make Me a Supermodel , and appeared in the films Trois 2: Pandora’s Box , Biker Boyz , Into the Blue , Kings of the Evening , Hotel California , Addicted (2014), Chocolate City , and Supermodel (2015).
His parents, Hillary Dixon Hall and Lloyd Beckford, are Jamaican. He has African-Jamaican, African-Panamanian, and Chinese ancestry. He spent part of his childhood in Jamaica, as well as in The Bronx, New York City. He is an ambasador for Kick 4 Life, an organization that uses soccer to engage vulnerable youth in holistic care and support in Lesotho.
Tyson has a son with celebrity stylist April Roomet.
