Urijah Faber is an American professional mixed martial artist, and actor. He held the WEC Featherweight Championship for over two years, and competed as both bantamweight and featherweight with the Ultimate Fighting Championship. He founded martial arts gym Team Alpha Male. He is known as “The California Kid.”
Urijah is the son of Suzanne and Theodore Faber. His first name, Urijah, is a biblical name. His surname is said to originate from Dutch ancestry. He is married to Jaslyn, with whom he has two children.
Urijah’s maternal grandfather’s surname was Leary.
