Virginie Ledoyen is a French actress. She is known for starring in the film The Beach (2000).
She is the daughter of Olga, a restaurateur, and Bernard Fernández, a merchant. She was raised in Aubervilliers. She took on the name Ledoyen after the maiden name of her maternal grandmother, who was a stage actress. Virginie has a daughter with her former partner, production designer Louis Soubrier; and two children with her former partner, actor Arié Elmaleh.
