Wallace “Wally” Wolodarsky is an American actor, film director, producer, and screenwriter. He has directed the films Coldblooded (1995), which he wrote; Sorority Boys , and Seeing Other People , which he co-wrote; and co-directed and co-wrote the film The Good House . He has also co-written the films The Rocker , Monsters vs. Aliens , Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Dog Days , A Dog’s Purpose , The Polka King , A Dog’s Journey , and Trolls World Tour . He wrote for the shows The Tracey Ullman Show and The Simpsons . He had a voice role in the film Fantastic Mr. Fox .
Wallace is married to screenwriter, television producer, and director Maya Forbes , with whom he has three children, including actress Imogene Wolodarsky. Wallace and Maya often co-write projects, and Maya was Wallace’s co-director on The Good House .
