will.i.am is an American rapper, singer, songwriter, DJ, record producer, actor, and philanthropist. He is an MC/dancer, and a member of hip hop group Black Eyed Peas. Other members of the group have been/are apl.de.ap , Fergie , and Taboo . He has also been a member of hip hop group Atban Klann, also with apl.de.ap; and production duo Jawbreakers, with Justin Timberlake . His acting roles include the films Madagascar: Escape 2 Africa , Arthur and the Revenge of Maltazard , X-Men Origins: Wolverine , Date Night , and Rio , and its sequel; the series The Cleveland Show ; and the video games The Urbz: Sims in the City and The Black Eyed Peas Experience . He sang the theme song for the show Samurai Jack , and has been a personality on American Idol and The Voice . He is also known as Will 1X, illwilly, Willonex, and Zuper Blahq.
