Will Sharpe is a British actor and filmmaker. His roles include the series The Wrong Door , Casualty , Flowers , which he also created, wrote, directed; W1A , Defending the Guilty , Giri/Haji , The White Lotus , Too Much , and Amadeus . He co-directed and wrote the film Black Pond , co-directed and co-wrote the film The Darkest Universe , and directed and co-wrote the film The Electrical Life of Louis Wain . He starred in the first two, as well as in the films A Real Pain and Emmanuelle (2024). He also co-wrote the mini-series Landscapers .
His brother is composer Arthur Sharpe. He was raised in Tokyo, Japan, until the age of eight, when his family moved to Surrey, England. He is married to actress Sophia Di Martino , with whom he has two children.
Will’s paternal grandparents likely were Richard D. Sharpe and Beryl M. Mawer (the daughter of Walter L. Mawer and Ada Lintin).
Will’s maternal grandfather’s surname was Fukuda.
