Wilson Bethel is an American actor and producer. His roles include the series Generation Kill , The Young and the Restless , Hart of Dixie , Reception , L.A. Rangers , American Koko , The Astronaut Wives Club , Blood & Oil , Harley and the Davidsons , How to Get Away with Murder , Daredevil , All Rise , Daredevil: Born Again , Untamed , and Imperfect Women ; the films Tunnel Rats , Stealing Summers , Wyatt Earp’s Revenge , Cold Turkey (2013), and Doors (2021); and the made-for-tv movie The Perfect Student .

He is the son of author Joyce Maynard (Daphne Joyce Maynard) and artist Stephen Bethel. He is married to Liesl Martinez-Balaguer, and has a daughter.

Wilson’s maternal grandfather was Max S. Maynard (Maxwell Singleton Maynard, the son of Thomas H. Maynard and Eliza Anthony Teague). Max was born in Madras, India, to English Fundamentalist missionary parents, and moved to Canada. Thomas was the son of Thomas Maynard and Maria Roberts. Eliza was Cornish, the daughter of John Teague and Jane.

Wilson’s maternal grandmother was Fredelle Bruser (the daughter of Bernard/Boris Bruser and Rona/Rowena Slobinsky). Fredelle was born in Saskatchewan, Canada, to Russian Jewish parents. Bernard was the son of Chaim Bruser and Miriam Levi, who was from Salant, Kretinga, Lithuania. Rona was the daughter of Abraham Isaac Slobinsky, who was from Vynohrad, Bezirk Tłumacz, Galicia; and Fannie Slutsky.
