Xavier Naidoo is a German soul and R&B singer, songwriter, record producer, and actor. He is a founding member of band Söhne Mannheims. He has used the stage names Kobra and Kurt.
His father, Rausammy Naidoo, is a South African immigrant, of German and Telugu Indian descent. His mother, Eugene, is also a South African immigrant, of Egyptian descent.
