Yassir Lester is an American stand-up comedian, writer, and actor. He has appeared on the shows TakePart Live , Girls , @midnight , Making History , Champions , Comedy Knockout , Black Monday , which he also wrote for; Duncanville , and Sausage Party: Foodtopia , the latter two in voice performance; and in the film The Bet (2016).
His father is Palestinian. His mother is African-American. His brother, Isaiah Lester, is a writer, producer, and director; the two co-directed the film The Gutter , which Yassir wrote. His sister, Brittany, is a barber and hairstylist on TV show sets. He was raised by their mother in Marietta, Georgia. Yassir is married to Chelsea Devantez.
Yassir’s maternal grandmother is named Mozell.
