Zach Hadel, also known as psychicpebbles, is an American YouTuber, animator, writer, director, and voice actor. He is known for co-creating animated series Smiling Friends for Adult Swim, with Michael Cusack; which they also co-wrote and co-directed. He is also known for his animations on his YouTube channels, thepsychicpebble and psychicpebbles, and for co-hosting the web series OneyPlays .
Zach’s paternal grandfather was Edward Paul Hadel (the son of Frank Andreas Hadel and Nellie Lucas, born Anela Lukazewicz). Edward was born in Lenexa, Kansas. Frank was born in Missouri, to Czech parents, Johann/John Hadel and Mary Theresa Gregory, from Bohemia, now Czech Republic. Zach’s great-grandmother Nellie was born in Buteliunai, Lithuania, to a Polish father, Pawel Lukazewicz, later Paul Lucas; and a Lithuanian mother, Rozalia/Rose Lucille Daugiala/Douglas.
Zach’s paternal grandmother was Helen “Louise” Pflumm (the daughter of Andrew Pflumm and Elizabeth Lally). Helen was born in Shawnee, Kansas. Andrew was born in Kansas, the son of Conrad J. Pflumm, whose parents were German; and of Martina Van Schoenlandt, who was Belgian, from Antwerp. Zach’s great-grandmother Elizabeth was the daughter of John Lally, whose parents were Irish; and of Mary Burke, who was also Irish.
Zach’s maternal grandfather was Jimmie Doyle Newman (the son of Donald Loyd “Don” Newman and Gladys Maurene Swearingen). Jimmie was born in Mount Vernon, Missouri, and had Colonial American ancestry, with some distant ancestors born in Barbados. Through his maternal grandfather, Zach is descended from soldier, frontiersman, and politician John Sevier, who was the first governor of Tennessee, from March 30, 1796 to September 23, 1801, and again, from September 23, 1803 to September 20, 1809. Zach’s great-grandfather Donald was born in El Dorado Springs, Missouri, the son of Walter Timmon Newman and Virda C. Weeks. Zach’s great-grandmother Gladys was born in Miller, Missouri, the daughter of Claude Finis Swearingen and Cora Levona Ruddick.
Zach’s maternal grandmother was named Kathleen S. “Kathy” Hanson.
