Zach Wilson is an American professional football player. A quarterback, he plays for the Miami Dolphins of the National Football League (NFL). He was previously with the New York Jets and the Denver Broncos.
Zach is the son of Lisa and Michael Wilson. He has Native Hawaiian ancestry on his father’s side. His middle name Kapono means “righteous” in Hawaiian. His brother is football player Isaac Wilson. He is a relative of entrepreneurs David Neeleman, who works in the airline industry, and Stephen Neeleman, a co-founder of HealthEquity. Zach is married to Nicolette Dellanno.
Zach’s maternal grandfather was Gary John Neeleman (the son of John Peter Neeleman and Ethel Lillian Steele). John was born in Utah, the son of Simon Neeleman and Johanna Reinking. Ethel was born in Utah, the daughter of Thomas George Steele and Hannah Rosamond Bush.
