Zack Greinke is an American professional baseball player. A pitcher, he played for the Kansas City Royals, the Milwaukee Brewers, the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim, the Los Angeles Dodgers, the Arizona Diamondbacks, and the Houston Astros of Major League Baseball (MLB).
His brother, Luke Greinke, is also a pitcher. Zack is married to Emily Kuchar, with whom he has three children. Emily is a cheerleader, who was Miss Daytona Beach USA 2008.
Zack’s paternal grandfather was Raymond Siegfred Greinke (the son of Edward August Greinke and Marie Sidney Clair). Edward was the son of Hermann Greinke and Johana Kamien. Marie was born in Michigan, to Belgian parents, Guillame Clair, who was Walloon, and Marie Elizabeth Van Den Bulck, who was Flemish.
Zack’s paternal grandmother was Eleanor Stella Skonieczny (the daughter of Vincent Skonieczny and Julia Mieszewicz). Eleanor was born in Illinois, to parents of Polish descent.
Zack’s maternal grandfather was John Buren Wilkin (the son of Dr. Peter Eager Wilkin and Irma Kate Baughn). Peter was the son of Peter Crantz/Cranse Wilkin and Sarah Ann Thompson. Irma was the daughter of Judge Van Buren Baughn and Martha Sheffield.
Zack’s maternal grandmother was Mary Louise Londeree (the daughter of Earnest Linwood Londeree and Leila May/Mae Turk). Earnest was the son of John James Londeree, whose father was French-Canadian, and of Eleanore J. “Ella” Armstrong. Leila was the daughter of Thomas J. Turk and Idora Elrod.
